You can also design personalized postcards with their own images. It's a safer, more secure alternative to postal mail.
Another popular inmate text application is GettingOut, which offers "simple and reliable communication" between inmates and their loved ones. The app is accessible at select correctional facilities, and allows inmates to upload images and text messages to family members and friends using their tablets. It costs inmates $0.25 for a message, and loved ones pay for the information used to view their messages (but not for explicit pictures). The GettingOut app allows users to upload a picture to Facebook or Foursquare and then check in to Foursquare and add a YouTube video.
